The planning application for 30 open market homes and 20 affordable homes was submitted in 2014.
Despite receiving objections from both Bearsted and Thurnham Parish Councils, KCC, Bearsted Woodland Trust, the Bearsted and Thurnham Society and numerous parishioners Maidstone Borough Council approved the application on 6th July 2016.
