Six Local Road Closures and Roadworks Likely to Cause Delays

 

We have been informed of the following temporary road closures and roadworks which are likely to cause delays.

1. 

Thurnham Lane ~ 30th March to 9th April

Thurnham Lane will be closed between Claymore and 8 Fancy Row to allow a new sewer connection to be made.

2.

Roundwell ~ 24th to 28th February

Two separate roadworks are programmed

Coming from the Ashford Road and just before Barty House ~ Stop-go boards from the 24th to the 26th.

Near Roundwell Cottage as you approach Crosskeys ~ Traffic lights from the 26th to the 28th.

Roseacre Lane closed for one day on February 28th

Roseacre Lane will be closed at a point about halfway between Windmill Heights and Tower Lane to enable UK Power Networks to make a new connection.

4.

New Cut Road ~ traffic lights

Two way traffic lights will be in operation near the southern end of New Cut Road between 21st March and 2nd May 2020.

The Landway, Hog Hill and Windmill Heights mini roundabout ~ three way traffic lights

Traffic lights will be in place from February 17th to February 24th 2020 to enable SGN to replace gas mains.

6.

Grovewood Drive South ~ long term road closure

Grovewood Drive South will be closed close to its junction with New Cut Road from 10th February until 2nd May  2020 for the installation of ductwork to serve street lights and traffic signals.
