The fence fronting Bearsted Road has now been replaced.
Although Maidstone Borough Council have not upheld the "complaint" lodged by the Society they have at least obtained agreement
from the applicant that the fencing fronting Bearsted Road will be replaced "in due course".
Following the recent erection of a blue perimeter fence to the schools site the Society has written to Maidstone Borough Council asking for an explanation as there does not appear to be a mention of the use of this incongruous and intrusive colour in any of the approved planning documents.
